Individual Worth Value Experience 6

When you participate in family history, you come to understand your identity and individual worth. Visit with your living relatives to learn as much information about your family history as possible. Then complete a pedigree chart of your family and list the temple ordinances that have been completed for each person.

The world has changed so much in just a few short years. It is so easy to start learning about your family history in just a few short minutes on FamilySearch.

Interview your grandparents, or other relatives. Here are many great questions you could ask.

Use this pedigree chart where you can mark the ordinances performed for you and your ancestors

Learn why it's especially important for youth to do genealogy by reading The Hearts of the Children Shall Turn (David A. Bednar) and visiting the Youth and Family History page on the church website.

Not everybody is capable of visiting their relatives, so consider Skype or social media in contacting family members!
