Doctrine & Covenants Seminary Scripture Mastery Colorful Printable Posters

I have a complicated relationship with Seminary. I love studying the gospel as a group every single day, but I don't like the waking up at 5:00 every morning and sitting in heavy traffic. Somehow, though, I've survived it so far.

That being said, I love Scripture Mastery. This last year I fell in love with the program. My stake has a huge Scripture Chase, and in my old stake (I moved in January) they never really focused on Scripture Mastery. Because of the huge emphasis they made here, I was able to memorize every single verse, and make it into the top 6 of the Chase.

Of course, this isn't really about a silly competition, but about knowing that the church has selected these verses because they know that they powerfully teach the doctrine of Christ, which will serve as a huge blessing as we go on to serve as missionaries and members in this church. They will help us through struggles and trials, and help us to learn and understand the truthfulness of this gospel.

And so to assist in this, I've created simple half-sheet posters with the scripture mastery verses for this year of Doctrine and Covenants & Church History. I personally will be printing them off in batches as I memorize them, and stick them somewhere I'll see regularly. I also have them as my computer desktop background. Feel free to use them however will help you memorize them the best!

And, as always, find ways to use these in Personal Progress. So many of these verses are found in the Personal Progress experiences, or teach similar principles. A project of memorizing all 25 scriptures could fit under ANY VALUE!
