This verse got my creative juices flowing. I had a couple fun ideas sketched out, and a broken laptop got in the way of creating them, but then the opportunity came for me to sit down and make them, and I had a ton of fun! I played with some of my favorite fonts and colors, and who doesn't love chevron? The final result is something I'm pretty proud of. It's fun and playful, while still fresh and classy. I'm hopeful that some amazingly creative people find a good use for them.

These colorful posters are available in my Etsy store right now. They come in three colors--blue, pink, and gold-- and five sizes. And there's a bonus poster with the main theme as well!
But for those of you looking for freebies, never fear! A black and white version of the poster--which is actually still pretty cute--is available for free download below. It's available as a JPG and is scaled to 8.5x11 for easy printing.

I'm glad you overcame your obstacle of a broken laptop, because these look incredible. I love how simple and elegant the design is. And I agree with the chevrons. I love them too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the free downloadable poster. Mine was not scaled to 8.5x11, even after checking settings. And the top was cut off in the downloaded image. I'm not complaining, but I'm not sure what happened. Not sure if others had the same issues. . .Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that was an issue! I've used several different printers and had no issue with any. I'm glad you appreciate it!
DeleteI am the Young men's President in our ward and wanted to get it put in poster size 20 X 30 When I send it to Costco to print the sides are going to be cut off. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, there isn't really a way to fix this on their website. Another issue is that the file is too small to print out 20x30, and so it will probably look grainy. If you're interested in having it scaled to 20x30, I'm happy to do that at a super reasonable cost.
DeleteHello there,
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you for making the black and white version of the 2016 Mutual Theme available for free download. I am wondering if it is possible to have it sized to a larger size that a poster can be printed from. You mentioned above that having it scaled to a 20x30 size might be an option. Thank you! My email is twilamarie2003@yahoo.com
Thank you for this design. I've been looking for a printable of the 2016 YM/YW theme I could use in my son's room They tend to be geared to the YW. My son plays high school baseball and it wasn't until I saw your design that I thought to relate the arrow symbol commonly used for the theme to baseball stitches. I'm going to print the b&w design, color the "arrow stitches" red and hang it in my son's room. If it's an easy edit, you might consider offering that version as a download. Thanks again
ReplyDeleteCould I also ask how much a 16x20 would cost? Would the originalfree download work for that size? Thanks! Wendydroge@gmail.com
